These pages are for those interested in dogs. If you are interested in buying a dog please save a life and rescue a dog from a breed rescue or your local shelter. They have lots of dogs and puppies, purebreeds or mixed breeds, that can use a loving home. If you choose to buy a dog from a breeder please go to a responsible breeder who uses breeding stock that is shown and proven in conformation, tested and cleared of genetic defects known to their breed, offers health and lifetime guarantees and are members of their local/national breed club and adhere to their breed clubs' code of ethics. Do NOT purchase a dog from a petstore or backyard breeder. These people breed dogs for the main purpose of making money and do not have the dogs best interest in mind. If you are involved in rescue or volunteer for a shelter or are a responsible breeder and would like me to add a link to your website on any of my pages please e-mail me.
Here's a list of reputable kennel clubs. Even though a dog may be registered with these kennel clubs it does NOT mean that the dog is healthy or of breeding quality, the registration only means that the dog is purebred. Also beware of "scam registries". These so called registries will register any dog, including mix breed dogs, and "breeds" that aren't recognized by any reputable kennel club. These registries are nothing more than "paper mills" that cater to puppymills and backyard breeders. Puppymills and backyard breeders use these registries in order to sell mixed breed dogs or because they were suspended from a reputable kennel club. They target uneducated people into thinking that the dog with these papers are indeed purebreed or that the papers are worth something and are worth paying an expensive price when in all actuality the papers are totally worthless. For more information about kennel clubs, scam registries and other information in regards to that check out this website.
